Youth in Motion is a Non Profit Organization located on the island of

Molokai, The Most Hawaiian Island, and one that is pretty much in the center of the world.

Youth in Motion was founded in 1997 with the concept of giving back by helping youth find directions in their life. Part of the initial building foundation was that of the ocean since Clare Seeger Mawae who as a youth found the ocean as her calling, but at the same time faced the challenges of any youth in part of life. Clare was also fortunate to have opportunities in running, snow skiing, but the wind carried her to the sport of windsurfing.

The purpose of the creation of this program is to seek out adults who as once youths themselves want to give back to our future generation. Afterall if the older generation do not give back then how can the next generation move forward....and this is how this program began...
